I think it would be great to have a chatroom on the page, because a lot of the communication in the forums is people simply communicating with eachother. A chatroom is essentially the same thing just it takes less time. I've found the chatroom on the IFR guildsite very helpful for setting things up. Having a room on the Gazette wound likely be a huge gain in setting world pvp or cross faction events up in less than half the time. I do realize though that this may not be feasable, but I don't know much a bout website design other than Geocities. Also, could my rep be changed to 'Sexy'? :wink: :wink:

I think its different than that, actually. Its all within the website and there's a chatbox that is always there while you're surfing or something. At least, from my understanding thats how it works *shrug*

How do i get to the IRC thing anyway? and Abric, while the bad side effects are inevitable, think on the plus side. World Events (like my battle coming up) would probably be organized cross faction in a fraction of the time. True, some of the Horde and Alliance may get closer, but as RPers our experiance in this site should not effect our actions in-game. As for moderators.... nose goes (touches his nose)

ok, I checked into it.

shoutboxes I can't do because they are pretty database intensive, and y'all are already beating the snot out of mine now. I'm at 200% of my "allowed" database calls nearly everyday, and over 200% on tuesdays. So far my web host hasn't said anyhthing or tried to charge me more money, but that possiblilty is there so I'd prefer to stay way from anything that will trigger some bean-counter's +money app.

I could put an IRC java app on the site, but they tend to have limited useability, so I'd recommend getting mIRC or trillian or any other app that can connect up anyway :)
