I guess I'm jumping on the bandwagon! Vilmah, Evanthe, and a few others are doing it. Casting actresses as their characters and making cool avatars.

Here is Hellista, and Alicia Witt is who I think would be good to portray her physically. Picture that face, with Luna's voice from the Harry Potter movie, and you have a good idea of my evil warlock.

I am in the same boat Evanthe. Eventually in the course of my class I will take a photoshop class but usually the best teacher with this program is one self...and I am a horrible teacher.

This thread makes me wish I knew how to do those things in photoshop, dropping $500 for the adobe 3 whatever program package I better learn eventually haha. The reason I'm not participating is because the the only people I can think to "cast" as Izrail are not real people, like the chibi Rosiel from Angel Sanctuary I'm using right now (from this website (http://www.geocities.com/taiaiel/Seite1.htm)), or the Final Fantasy icons I've used in the past.

The image is also a little suggestive so it might not work for public forum usage, though cropping could deal with that. The coloring is also too warm and dark. But it's a nice picture. ^^

Here's my take.

We are all having fun here, playing around, and doing harmless things. Its like a casting call for our characters. Go to the Character Bio section and you will see a line that says "Played by what famous Person:" All we are doing it showing a pic of that person made up like our race. Now, if you are offended by the avatars, then you need to PM Mortica and tell her that we have to redo our character Bio template too.

See what I'm getting at?

As was said above, nothing here is distasteful. We're having fun with this, and I think some of them came out damn good. I know I'm happy with mine and will not be taking them down for a long time.

LOST's Josh Holloway presented with some serious added magic brought to you by Nymare. Basically using Leo's description, we were faced with the task of finding someone with a rugged frame, yet still retaining a softness in the features of his face. I'm still amazed Nym was able to take the template she did and work it into a Blood Elf, the idea of rugged meeting pretty not often a common mix.

And yes, Leo had to come with a mane.
