All right, how do you all think weather plays a factor in WoW? Winterspring is always snowy and cold, Durotar is arid and dry, Mulgore is rolling and green. What about the seasons? Do the days get longer in "summer" and shorter in "winter"? Is it beyond the realm of possibility to speculate that the leaves are changing in the forests and in the dead of winter lands that could seem like they'd be covered with snow ARE, in fact, covered with snow even though the graphics don't support it?

The more temperate climates, of course, experience the seasons. Different climates, though, just like the real world, have different changes that come with them. Winterspring will always be covered in snow (hence the name :P), and the Burning Steppes will always be blackened by Blackrock Mountain. Areas like Tirisfal, Elwynn, and Ashenvale would be more likely to have the full round of the familiar seasons, and, since they put weather effects in, we do experience some of that, although not consistently.
