Mistress Clys has been gone so long. Am I the only one who is not surprised that she found her way back? She said she was in someplace called Norrath, or something similar, and the portal she fell through when she was sucked there turned her into a fairy. I have been called a fairy before. I do not think I would like being one.

She was her usual self, but I worry if we all overwhelmed her. Lovely calls her "mother" but I will not do that. My mother was a selfish whore.

Lovely, Tamora, and I helped Clys demolish part of the Scarlet Monastery last night. I had heard about the place but had never been there. Lovely got Clys and I keys so we may ransack the place whenever we like. I have been helped through many difficult places, by my guild and by Visant and his friends. It was satisfying to do the same for someone else. Now that I am not in a rush to do anything (except earn money for my dreadsteed) I want to offer my services to weaker allies more often.

Lovely was also working on some "medicine" to help control her mood swings. I will try it and see if it works better for me than the various recipes I have been experimenting with.

I need to apologize to Visant. I believed Clys' story of falling into another world and finding her way back but for a long time I have had doubts about him. I think it is because Clys was very open and forthcoming about her experience, and no one questioned her honesty. Visant told me in secret and said his own family thought he was crazy. Also, Clys' tale does not have anything to do with me except for it involving her, the head of my family. It is easier to accept when it is impersonal.

I think I told him I mostly believe him and wish I could fully. But it is hard to believe something when no one else knows or believes it either. That is a stupid excuse. I want to believe it because it is amazing and so I will believe it. No more doubting. He has never lied before.
