It has been some time since I have written in a diary. Not since my girlhood have I felt the need, and even then it was simply because it was expected. Of course, there was little to write. I was comfortably numb in my own little world, with neither love nor hatred to distract me.
I am home, in the Undercity. I was tortured by Sulajin, and freed by Niethan. I have remembered my time with the Scourge. I have been reborn, once more. This time, it actually worked. Now I can finally feel, and it is amazing.
By my side is a priest. He is a master of the shadows, a dark and brooding man who's power is both admirable and amazing.. yet it is not his power that I care for. It is him. As if I could still feel, there is a tingling in my lips from where he kissed me. There is a warmth within me, not unlike warm days at sea. I've never felt so alive, and yet I know that I am as dead as the day I was driven mad by the Scourge.
