When I was asked how I met Solenev and why I accepted Villinger's collar willing I tell them this.
It was shortly before my first trial as a Blood Knight. A captain whose name I have long forgotten asked me to deal with a few murlocs who had stolen her ship's cargo. I agreed knowing I would be doing a good deed.
I arrived at the location she had told be of. The shoreline was littered with murloc villages. I started killing the murlocs one by one. Sometimes two by two.
It was there that I met Solenev for the first time.
I was finishing up my request when i heard a scream of terror. I looked over to see Solenev cornered by serveral murlocs and was already hurt very badly. I prompted saved her from the murlocs. I then carried her to a small cave nearby. I tended to her wounds without speaking. She quietly said thanks, which I didnt respond to. As I finished tending to her wounds i got up to leave.
"Can I atleast get your name?" She asked me softly.
"My name is not importent," I replied.
"Please?" She asked me with a small voice.
I sighed. I usually didn't give out my name. I don't like people coming up to me and praising me for the good things I've gone. No matter how big or small it was that I had done. But when I turned to tell her this, my heart "fell to its knees". Her face told me a story. She had been hurt and never saved. She seemed to long to want to thank me. I wanted to just hug her and told her I'd always be there for her.
I held back.
"My name is Ionn. Ionn Tryce." I said in a near whisper.
She then smiled at me sweetly.
"Thank you for saving me Ionn Tryce."
I nodded and turn to leave once again.
"My name is Solenev," She then blurted out.
I turned to see she was blushing. Then left the cave and Solenev behind.
-------------
I didn't see her again for about a days time.
I was killing some very annoying Treants. Once i was done finishing one off I looked over to where I could hear the crackling of fire. There she was casting fire spells on the Treants.
I fell from reality gazing at her. I hadn't payed much attention to her the first time we met. Her hair was as red as the fire she sent flying through the air. Her skin was a fine pale. She looked so beautiful and elegant even when she was fighting.
It was then that I was thrown back to reality when another of those annoying Treant decided to give me a "friendly" slap on the back. I then promptly reminded the elemental who was superior. I then continued to kill more of them.
I saw her again and she saw me. She waved at me with another of her sweet smiles. I tried to ignore it and went back to killing. Shortly after a scream that sent chilled down my spine reached my ears.
I turned and ran towards the sound. There to my horror was Solenev on the ground. She seemed near death and barely breathing. I ran to her and held her in my arms. I then used the light to heal her. She then opened her eyes slowly and blinked. I smiled and sighed a sigh of relief.
When I helped her up I touched the collar she was wearing. She screamed another bone chilling scream. I then awoke her with the light again.
I then asked her about the collar. She told me about Villinger and his plans. I told her I would do my best to help her. I then went a step further and pledged myself to her as her gaurdian. I soon realised that I would have to me collared myself to protect her at all times. I asked her to contact Villinger. She was hesistant about saying she would and that I didn't have to. I told her that I knew that I didn't. But I wanted to for her.
I was then approuched by Holdeng; Villinger's assistant. I followed him to Silvermoon where I was collared. My last thoughts before he caused me to black out were this:
"I just hope what I'm doing for Solenev doesn't stop when this is over..."
