Vicailde

A young Sin'Dorei bent over his wife craddeling her lifeless body in his hands as he rocked slowly back and forth, tears streaming down his cheeks. His right cheek bleeding furiously from a freshly cut gouge, which he didn't seem to even notice as he sobbed in a spot light. Shadows surrounding him and moving closer towards him and his wife. Her swollen belly bleeding from the large sword sticking through her.
"I'm sorry... for your loss..." a kind voice said softly as a dark skinned young Sin'Dorei woman kneeled nexted to the rocking figure as he sobbed. She reached out her left hand and placed her fingers behind his jaw and ear as she placed her thumb on his right cheek and slowly moved it back. Blood smeared across his cheek but as her thumb moved the gouge turned into an aged scar. The young Sin'Dorei man blinked his green eyes, the tears continuing to stream down his face as he looked up at this newcomer.
The dark skinned Sin'Dorei woman moved forward slowly. "...but it's time to move on.. Vic." she kissed his lips softly and he felt himself fall backwards as she leaned forward and he landed sharply into a large field of roses, his teeth gritted as he looked up at Ninorra.
His bare skin cried out in pain as the thorns cut his back and legs deeply, blood oozed down the flower disappearing into their scarlet color. Ninorra began to move over him and his fingers twitched as he was unsure what to do. His tears continuing to roll down his cheeks.
She reached out and ran her fingers down his face slowly and lightly, his skin began to age with her touch and his hair begain to gray and his tears dried. He took a slow unsteady breath watching as she danced ontop of him in an odd fashion her fingers moving across him and aging him slowly. He swallowed and adjusted beneath her.
A large thorn suddenly dug into his side as he moved and he gritted his teeth once more as he felt himself sinking into the sharp roses, his hand reached up slowly. His eyes sad as he began to watch Ninorra begin to fade from view, just out of reach of his hand.
Vicailde shut his eyes tightly and paused for a moment as the thorns continued to pull him down, the wounds on his back begginning to bleed more as her figure blurred and began to disappear from view.
"..Nn....Niiinna!" Vicailde cried out and thrust his hand forward to grab her shoulder and it solidified around underneath his hand. The roses began to wrap around his other arm and tugged it roughly. they began to pull his arm forcablly downward, the thorns cutting his arm.
Vicailde's grip on Ninorra's shoulder loosened and began to sleep. "I can't... I'm not.. strong enough." he grunted in frustration as his fingers began to slip away from her shoulder. His eyes looked up at hers and her happy look began to fade to that of disappointment and sadness.
"gkh..." Vicailde's fingers dug into her shoulder. "n..no.. Niina!" He cried out as he forced his other hand upward sharply the roses breaking around it but shredding his skin. His bloody hand gripped her other shoulders tightly, his fingers threatening to slip as he pulled himself painfully out of the roses and her smile slowly grew back on her face as he shrugged off the last sharp thorn.
He panted heavily as he lay in a pool of roses and his own crimson blood. Her body began to dance over his once more as her hand moved slowly up his torso, the wounds from the roses healing into scaras before she gripped his shoulders lightly.
"..Nina... you're.. so good to me.... I'm a fool to.." He swalloed roughly as another thorn jabbed him forcably in the side. "Dwell on the past when there's some extrodinary person right here.. right now."
Ninorra leaned foward slowly her hair wrapping around him as she kissed him softly once more.
Vicailde's eyes softened against the kiss and he closed his eyes and released. He allowed his body to fall back into the roses as he wrapped his arms around her.
The field exploded around him and his back was met by the cool feeeling of grass. Ninorra slowly lifting her head up and smiled happily as Lilly pedals floated down around them.
Vicailde stared into her eyes for a moment. "..I love you Ninorra."

The sky faded to white cieling and Ninorra moved up beside Vicailde as he blinked away the remaining sleepiness from his eyes and she placed a hand on his chest, running it idely along one of his many scars.
"...any pleasant dreams this morning, love?" Ninorra asked softly.
"hmm... yes..." Vicailde smiled sleepily before turning onto his side for a moment to kiss her cheek and roll back into his previous position. "...very pleasant."
"So a different dream than usual, then?" Ninorra grinned, playfully at him.
Vicailde smirks sleepily and wrap his arms around her. He stretches his arms by hugging her tightly for a moment. "...maybe." He laughs sleepily, kissing her cheek once more knowing that last night was the last time he would dream of his first wife and that dreadful night several decades ago.
