The Nether Council (Horde RP Union)

The Horde has an organised alliance of RP Guilds widley known as The Nether Council.

The Leaders of each Guild sit at the Nether Council while the rest form the Nether Circle. We all communicate as one Guild through custom made in-game Channels that are given to each member Guild upon acceptance, this allows us to work as one.

The Main Purpose of the Nether Council is to complement each others numbers for event, raids, dungeons and any other activity that requieres large amount of numbers. So far the Nether Council and Circle has worked admirably in allowing us to form groups and carryout RP Events.

The purpose of this thread is to inform Horde RP Guilds of the Nether Council's existance and for the existing member Guilds to announce their membership.

Decimate's been in the Council from the first time Soraxis mentioned it.

I can't seem to get the whole guild to join the channels, but most enjoy and use it frequently.

What are the requirements for joining the Nether Council / Circle?

The Clan of the Crimson Hand has been looking for other guilds to ally with for instances and quests and the like.

We are positioned as RP-Lite, balanced PvP, RP is encouraged at all times, but not enforced.

Ummm...requirements? Well you gotta be a RP guild, generally nice and amiable, no level requirements for the guilds or anything like that.

There's no real requirement. We DO consider it an RP society. Meetings are held once a week, usually followed by a raid of some sort. These meetings are considered In-Character as are the raids. If you've got some folks that are hesitant about RP or just feel they're not very good at it, bring some along and they'll see how easy it really is. We're a very friendly lot and always welcoming new folks.

I'd like to make a suggestion regarding Nether Council meetings. They might be better attended if they were held every other week, and on a different night than Friday or Saturday. On another server, we had great success meeting every other Sunday night around 9:00 pm central. RP events are less common on Sunday evenings, so there would be fewer conflicts.

Our guild holds regular events on Saturday evening, and I'd hate to miss out on more TN meetings.

I think changing the time is a fine idea. My new band takes up a lot of my weekend time and Sunday nights work better for me. I'll discuss it with the various leaders this week and see what can be done.
