Here's a portrait I did of an upcoming character. Can't reveal the details on this fellow just yet, but I can tease you with this artwork :)

For those that care, I used Poser, VUE Infinite 5, and Photoshop to create this image. The character was rendered in Poser, the background in VUE, and the compositing and postwork were done in PS.

Where does one get that Poser soft? It looks like something I would love to play around with. That is fantastic work!

Poser is manufactured by e-Frontier, web page is here: http://www.e-frontier.com/ It is easy to learn, difficult to master, which I suppose is why it has held my attention for years now.

So.. it was bugging me all morning. That Morgauth, the face reminded me of someone. For real. I just couldn't place it.

Then over coffeebreak it hit me.

There is a Canadian Alternative rocker named David Usher, former frontman for a band called Moist. That fellow is a spitting image of him! Longer hair, but otherwise.. its eerie..
