Dilemma!

I'm having a problem on how to finish this drawing:

The problem is finishing the rest of the body. A snakelike appendage, or two legs? Which to choose? I allways pictured a Shadowfiend with two legs, but now I'm not sure. Do thay have four?

they have tentacle legs...but go for Dinosaurian legs, or Avian. Draconian even.

Or give it fins, and let it fly on land, that looks so cool IMO
