History:Karnya Shadowscar grew up in the small fishing town of Shadowprey Village. From a very young age she showed herself to be a strong leader and a fierce fighter. She excelled at marksmanship. With the help of a small loan sent by her father, she made the journey to The Valley of Trials to be trained on the path of the Hunter. She was a quick study in all of her courses and made frequent trips home to her village. As she grew a little older, Karnya became more and more concerned with the growing Centaur presence around the Village. The Horse-men had several camps and a large temple, all within a few miles.
Information of this period is sketchy. Karnya did approach the leaders of her village; she wanted to know if the threat was being addressed. She discovered a startling fact. Her leaders were afraid.
It is also known that the centaur leaders viewed Shadowprey with disdain. They expected the small village to make offerings to them to insure the Trolls safety.
The events that transpired between Karnya’s acceptance into 40th season training and the banishment from her village have fallen to legend and speculation. What is known is that after the banishment she moved for a short time to Orgrimmar and became the youngest Hunter to ever graduate from their program. When the Army began to amass supplies for the war effort in Silithus, Karnya threw herself in with vigor. When the wagon train moved out, laden with troops and supplies, Karnya went with them.
This past year, she recieved a troubling note, it asked for her to check on her sister, who was believed to have been kidnapped by undead. Even though Karnya had not seen her younger sister since she was a suckling, she chose to investigate. After a month of searching, Karnya located the young shaman and found out that she had not been kidnapped, instead she was dating this undead.
The sisters had a chance to get to know one another, and some would say that a bit of the younger Trolls free-spirited nature has rubbed off on the older battle-hardened Trolless. Karnia convinced Karnya to actually go to a tailor and have a few dresses made in case she ever needed them, and Karnya has actually been seen in public wearing them. Karnya owned a small hut in the city of Orgrimaar which she lets the young couple stay in.
When the Dark Portal opened, Karnya rushed to the front line. She made her young sister promise to stay in Orgrimaar where it was safe. Since that day Karnya has been mostly in the Outland, doing her part to secure the safety of her homeworld.
