EnheilRas
10-15-2006, 08:46 PM
Full Name: Manus Trebelium
Nicknames: EnheilRas
Date of Birth: The Age of the Elves, Palladium
Age: 65
Race: High Orc
Gender: Male
Hair: Orange, with black streaks (Dyed)
Skin: Green
Eyes: Blue
Height: 7'
Weight: nearly 275 pounds of muscle and grit

Place of residence: The Frostwolf Village, Alterac, but he had an estate in Fortress Auchindoun, before it was destroyed by the Burning Legion.
Place of Birth: The "Old" Kingdom, Palladium, though he'll tell you Zeth'kur, a huge Port City on the Hellfire Peninsula, now destroyed by Kargath Bladefist's forces.
Known Relatives: Felika is his only surviving Daughter. She runs a trade company in the Drag. He has three deceased sons and two deceased wives. Most are buried outside Hammerfall in the Arathi Highlands

Religion/Philosophy: Former Acolyte of Lopnel, the Red God of Conquest, now a deeply spiritual Elementalist. Keeper of the Orcish Doctrine above all else.

Occupation: Far Seer and a General of the Horde's Forces.
Group/Guild affiliation: The High Fist Clan (http://wiki.wow-tng.org/index.php/High_Fist_Clan)
Guild Rank: General
Enemies: Any who dare resist the Horde.

Likes: Manus has little left in his life to like at all. He sustains his own survival based on the amount of destruction he can wreck in the "name" of the Horde. The death of his son tore away at any "humanity" that he held.
Favorite Foods: Snapvine Watermelon
Favorite Drinks:
Weapons of Choice: Has owned both Serathil, the weapon of Kash'Drakor, and a Skell, the weapon of his DanRas. He tends to be skilled in most weapons he comes across.
Dislikes: Elves and Dwarves, species which he sees as tyrannical and treacherous to all of which he is sustaining.
Hobbies: Was once a successful Boar Farmer, Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, and Leatherworker.

Physical Features: Manus has natural orange hair, and is 2 feet taller than a normal orc. His face, though rugged from decades of war, resembles an almost elven grace to it. His ears are long and pointed like that of an elf's. He's demonstrated a skill and emotion in battle that seems to draw soldiers of the Horde to follow him, as if it was an innate affinity to lead. He has three large tattoos down his right arm: The Tear of the Deadeye of the Bleeding Hollow, the Hellscream of the Warsong Clan, and the Howl of the Frostwolves, marking his loyalty to these three clans as a full member.

Special Abilities: Has ancient knowledge of Rune Magic and Biowizardry learned in the Elf-Dwarf War of Palladium. This has allowed Manus the ability to seal the spirits and souls of beings into weapons, imbuing them with powers incarnate with their souls. He has done this on the occassion of Sipah, a Paladin of Stromgarde.
Positive Personality Traits: Strong Leadership abilities and command war strategies have made this orc infamous. He is an extremely talented Officer in battle.
Negative Personality Traits: Incredible anger and impatience are trademarks of this Warrior Shaman. His rage of all things have made him into a notorious figure known well on both factions.
Misc. Quirks: Manus has on several occassions of extreme inebriation, cooked the finest meals fit for a High Overlord.

Hahahaha!

Manus, one of the most headstrong orcs to have ever graced Azeroth. His prowess in battle is unmatched by any I've ever witnessed, and could reach up to the abilities of Grom Hellscream himself! Sometimes, I wonder if he still suffers from the bloodlust, though I doubt it would change him at all.

*Keraph grumbles* That fool of an orc is the most irritating, arrogant, elitist bastard I've ever seen of all the barbaric orcs I've encountered. He really thinks he's got some sort of higher intelligence, as if that's even possible for an orc! *Keraph chuckles*

Still, I'd be damned if I didn't admit he is one hell of a leader, and an amazing strategist. Not traits I would expect from an Orc, but perhaps this one is different...

"Pfft," Danlily makes a face and exclaims loudly, "Manus? Dat pompous windbag?" She leans in closer and whispers, "and don't you say a word about me thinking he's a real good soldier and leader. He don't need his ego inflatin' any bigger what it already is." She leans back and goes back to using a casual tone, "He knows his stuff. Too bad he feels so inclined to rub everyone's noses in it, but he does know his stuff." Danlily mutters as she walks off, "pompous windbag."

Um.. Manus is.. well.. he's an older and experienced Orc. I respect his skill and his motivation. I only hope that I can be half as good as he is, and that maybe he can pass some of his wisdom on to me.

"The Frostwolf Orc, or whatever he is? I noticed some of those markings on him.. one is the bleeding Hollow and... well, I don't know a whole lot about those clans Orcs have anyhow...

He's an excelent leader, and usually has a good tactic or two in the valley, an asset to any battle."

" Manus? An orc you say? "

*shakes head..* No.. that name doesn't ring a bell. I've never met this individual. "

" Unless... * lost in deep thought..* When I was young, maybe 6 or 7, I used to accompany my dad when he delivered our surplus harvest to the orc internment camps in Arathi. I think I remember my dad and the other farmers talking and seems to me that name might have been mentioned. I'm not positive. "

" Maybe it was that one orc my dad was friendly with, the one that organized the work parties to offload the wagons? His name I think was Manus, or was it Janus? No.. It was Velin. that right. I remember, a strapping young orc lad with massive shoulders. I used to play with his little brother while I waited for dad and the others. Ignesh I think his name was, or something like that. We used to play hide and seek around the wagons. At least until the guards started yelling at us. They didn't like us playing together. The guards I remember were....cruel "

*looks down at his hands, which were fidgetting with his robes. Looks back at the interviewer with damp eyes.*

" Can we change the subject? I don't want to talk about that anymore..."

Ah...nope. Never heard of him.

Says here he's pretty old though...so I'm sure he knows something.

More to this orc than just ego, though I do understand why that's always the first thing mentioned.

I've found Manus to be incredibly generous with both his wealth and his knowledge. More than one Decimator has benefited from a bit of mentoring by the sagely Enheilras. Nothing but respect here.

Phia

"Manus? Yeah, I met him a couple times," Phia said, pausing to stuff a wad of fresh fadeleaf into the hookah before passing it to the troll on her left, "Back when I was dong mercenary work for the Frostwolf Clan, I had the dubious fortune o' serving under him against Stormpike's expedition in Alterac Valley.

"I don't know if he's different when he's outta uniform, but on the battlefield, he's got a personality like turpentine. There was one incident in particular that sticks with me. It was early in the campaign, and a loud-mouthed troll cadet questioned the General's orders to rush the hill. I can't blame the kid -- the bodies were already pilin' up like cordwood. Manus was furious, though. One back-handed slap later, and that troll was pickin' his tusks outta the snow while the rest of the company was scramblin' up the hill as fast as we could.

"My fondest memory of those months was when we finally broke through the front line and managed to seize Stormpike's base. I was in the south tower, packing it full of explosives while Manus was down below with one of his lieutenants, sitting at a table dining on roast goose and expensive port, laughing about the spoils of war. Just outside, dwarves and gnomes were being slaughtered like livestock. Say what you will, but it's hard not to admire a person that pauses to enjoy the finer things in life when surrounded by so much death."

Phia shrugged and poured another glass of rum. "Since then, I've been kicked outta the officer corps for misconduct and kinda gave up on accepting contracts from the Frostwolf Clan. I haven't seen 'im since. Could be dead for all I know."

The demise of the nether council ... in one fat bundle.

I can't stand the arrogance and brute idiocy of this orc.

Would rather never deal with him. Ever.

All children must be taught, else they will never find out.

I'm an excellent teacher, I just tend not to enjoy wasting my time in repeating myself.

Fhenrir

"I suppose I'm a little jealous of how well-known he was for being a master tactitian in his day. Couldn't enter the valley without hearing whether or not Manus was there."

Fhenrir pauses for a moment and scratches his chin.

"But I realized what really bothered me was that the Horde needed him to yell at them. All he did was state the obvious... very loudly. The fact that so many of our allies are helplessly inept really shines through when you see just how stupid they act without someone like him smacking them into shape."

Fhenrir sighs.

"Seemed like he treated me the same way. As though I was just another dunce in the valley, another body for the Frostwolves. I suppose I can't blame him, but I'm determined to prove to him that I'm not your average fool with a shiny sword."

Maegannon

She giggles and waves a bit of hair at Manus.

"He is probably the only orc in exsistance that holds my respect, though I'll never say why. I think he's got a thing for girls with silver hair."

Mae-mae snickers.

When you grow older, young Aman'i, you will learn the names of Legends and Heroes. It is then you will kneel before my tribute as the statue of the Fathers of Foundation shall count me amongst their ranks.

Pay homage now, and know greatness amongst the ranks I command.

((Don't forget, if this is your post, you really aren't supposed to respond to what the others are saying about you. It is mainly just a "Yeah, here's what I think of the guy" type thread. If you want to reply in character to what people are saying about you, it may be something for Nether Legends.

If I'm wrong on this, Mortica or someone can fix it, and hit me with rulers as per the norm for a mod mess up))

Danyxandra

((Teelia is actually right, people aren't speaking to the person in the thread, or it would be in Nether Legends. This is more like an interview, characters talking in a tavern or at the bank or mailbox about the person that is the subject of the post.))
