Eisabeau clears her throat a little, "Ahem, hmm, what can I say about Nouri? Well, my Lady Guildmistress, Teelia, I think she's a little sweet on him. Call hims 'wesley', you know. Must be a pet name." Eisa scratches her head," I don't really understand human customs all that well, yes, I know, I look human, mostly but I wasn't raised here. Now I can understand 'honey' and 'sweet-um', but this is the first pet name I've come across that was 'wesley.' Just what is a wesley anyway?"

"Oh right, about Nouri. Well he had some trouble recently, the church was after him which was my first clue that he had to be innocent. I mean, Benedictus? Come one, he's as corrupt as they come. I hope everythings alright now because Nouri is such a nice man, walks in the Light, the true-Light, not that pseudo-light the human church preaches about while making eyes at the altar boys," Eisa kicks her feet up on a stool and waves a server down, "Here, have a tankard on me. Have you heard any news on Nouri?"

I feel that by being reunited with him, and helping him regain what he had lost, I made myself whole as well. He is a noble man, and I would gladly give my life for his. Some call him heretic, I call him wonderful. "

I helped him to escape from the Kul Tiras sailors! I've heard he's really nice. Either way, nobody deserves what they did to him, the poor guy...

"Aah, Nouri. I haven't actually had the chance to meet him in person yet, but I've talked to him, and he's a nice enough guy. I'm hoping he can give me some insight about the whole business of memory loss. Just don't tell anyone. I don't like that kind of information about me getting out. Back to Nouri, though, he's a lucky guy. Sure, he's been deemed a heretic, and tons of people were after him not too long ago, but there are certain things that outweigh that."

"Nouri, now THERE'S a boy worthy of loyalty and friendship. He throws his own well-being aside to help those he cares about and do what he feels is right. Hmm, guess it could be something to do with him being a priest and all, but I think it goes deeper than just that. It's a part of him. I'd raise my bow to defend him any day of the week."

Nouri... Loyal, Trustworthy, Friendly and Jovial. One couldn't ask for a better ally. I was sorry to see his departure from our ranks - I think we all were. More than one of us had a soft spot for him, I'm sure. I guess one has to go where one's heart leads, though. I suppose I can't fault him for wanting to be with Teelia...

*laughs* I still remember the first time we ran into Nouri. We were in the Pig and Whistle, talking about the day's events, and this man we pegged for a loon comes in, preaching about how we should turn from our wicked ways and follow the Light. Kuro saw something in him, though...I haven't seen him much since then, but I know he must be a good man to garner the respect and loyalty Kuro has for him.

Nouri's as tough as they come, even if he doesn't realize it. He's one of the few priests i still have respect for these days, and one of the few I can honestly say I would not want as an enemy.
