Caelyn looks over the announcement and smiles. "Hmm..." she muses as she walkes over to the local dress maker, "what to wear? And what to get the Bride and Groom?"
Still mumbling to herself she walked up the owner of the shop and said, "I require a dress fit for a wedding." With a soft laugh she continued, "And maybe a tux for my date."
The owner winked at Caelyn, a frequent visitor to her shop. "That handsome young warrior, perhaps? He would look very," pausing she wiggled her eyebrows, "good in a tux."
Throwing her head back and laughing, Cae tossed some money on the counter, "Something pretty, please, but not too pretty." Walking out the door Cae went in search of her "date" and to look for the perfect gift for the happy couple.
((Hurray!! I can't wait, I will be there with out weapons and in a new dress, (any reason to shop  ) ))

((*wince* well... I hope for your sake that this doesn't get too widely publicized. I'd recommend keeping it to these forums only... nothing good has ever come of an RP event posted on the main forum boards.))

(( thank you for that northface, i think we were going to put in the main boards once though so a few people who may not regularly come here can know about it, i dont see why people would intentionally try and mess something up like that, i dont see the reward for them. we are doing it in the park so hopefully we will be out of the way of the "kiddies"))

((Honestly man...just because you don't see why someone would want to crash the party, doesn't mean they won't. I've never seen any kind of widely publicized event pulled off successfully. There are ALWAYS people looking to spoil other people's fun/events/happiness. Awhile back someone on this server tried holding a ball/dance/celebration, open to horde and alliance alike, which basically ended up being a pvp-flagged gank fest and ultimately degenerated into a screaming match in general chat between those who wanted the event to be a success, and those who thought "ZOMG HORDE IN STORMWIND KEEEL THEM!!!", justifying their actions with RP motives. That wasn't the first time I wished I could gank my own faction... and probably won't be the last.))

Oh yes I was at that event started out beautifully until the bloodshed and those Ball crashers.

((Oh I know. I wasn't being rude or anything either. I'm just trying to warn you about this kind of thing. I don't want to see another event that's supposed to be positive and joyful ruined by those who take pleasure in ruining other people's experiences. Your best bet? Word of mouth, spread amongst those you trust not to ruin the event.))

(( And you can. Just a note, though, and I feel something must be said... sick as it was, the Horde didn't start it. The Horde who attended came peaceably, without their weapons, etc. etc. They were immensely accomodating and awesome about it.
The Alliance RPers who were not attending the ball but were hearing about the Horde in Stormwind turned a blind eye and wished us luck, out of respect for what we were trying to do.
The people who crashed our party were the Alliance PvP kiddies, mainly Pinnacle, Shining Avengers, and a few others. They made it quite clear they didn't care about our event, or RP, and it was only after we started reporting them all for RP griefing that they starting pretending to have a reason. The message is this: cross-faction events are always going end in disaster, because unfortunately, this IS a PvP server and some people think that it's either/or, and that RPers exist to be hassled. It is the unfortunate truth of the situation. I'll stop ranting now. Just a note to you new people who may have missed the Christmas Chaos, as I'm calling it.
Good luck at your wedding - I'm sorry to miss it! Alas, I have a divorce party to go to! >.< ))

It is an event celebrating love. If you come peacefully I would welcome you, but sorry to say I can not promise that you would be safe. I would just be broken hearted if there was bloodshed at my wedding.
