This is quite possibly the stupidest question ever, but I just need to ask before I make a fool of myself in the raid.
Koralon the Flame Watcher: Immune to Fire Spells?
I ask because of my Warlock being Destruction specced...
Would be terrible to go in and do next to no damage. -.-

I for some reason thought this was going to be a thread on how to fight him. In which case I was going to punch a mother fucker because he is not hard.
He's not immune. I'm pretty sure I've smacked the bitch with a Lava Burst and did damage.

XD Thanks. I mean, logically thinking, he would have been immune. But since he isn't, yay. I suppose this thread could be deleted now and I can quit scouring the web for infoz on it.

I peed a little when I went in there, cast Immolate on him, and it hit. Fuck yeah for not having to spam shadow bolt!

Yea, logic would dictate he be immune to fire, but that would basically be a big FU from blizzard to fire mages and destro locks. I don't think they would design a raid boss that way. Maybe a world mob or something, but not anything you need a raid to take down. Cuz who would want to bring a class that can't do shit to the boss? Those classes would get left out in the cold.

Plenty of pre-BC and some BC raid bosses are immune to fire. It's pretty much the biggest FU.

fire mages
Those exist still? >.>
(In before fire is better on some encounters. I know this.)

Well, I meant with the direction they've been moving in since wrath, with the buff stacking changes and dual specs and the like. I realize it hasn't always been that way.

Well, Blizz pretty much hates mages. But the fact that it would also affect warlocks makes it unacceptable. ;)

Does he carry any resist? Like Saph in Naxx is frost resistant but not immune like he used to be. I remember so many times "Tradire is going to main tank" "I'm frost, he'll resist and my threat will be low"..."tank X is going to main tank"

I don't think so, though I have absolutely zero proof. I did Koralon a few times before I made the switch over to arcane and didn't notice any real drop in output.
Again, that's anecdotal, not concrete.

He's not made of fire.. he's made of stone or something. So I imagine fire still hits him. OH YEAH!.. kind of like why nature spells don't seem to work on certain giants in Northrend. AKA Wrath / other nature spells don't work on the rarespawn in Grizzly Hills.
