Now that you actually get XP in battlegrounds, I will be spending some time there on Chingaso as well as my DK, and seeing familiar faces always makes me smile.
Even the scurb shaman Opalsomething last night... ;)

That is how Swift and I cranked out or last two levels when we returned to WoW. AV was supplemented with other BGs as often as we could get them to pop. but, AV does give the most xp easy.
Too bad they don't pay. >.<

hmmmmmm....... cannon fodder? Kind of. If you try to hold something solo you will get steam rolled. Travel in a pack and you are fine for the most part.
XP? Seriously pays for the cannon fodder aspect. And if anyone needs new PvP gear at level 77 talk to your nearest leather worker. Completely worth it. That way you can save your honor for level 80 gear when the time comes.
Anyways why do you care if someone likes PvP enough to level to 80 in BGs and is glutton for punishment to go through it Swerto? I don't see a problem.

His problem is you're too easy to kill and cause losses.
Which really isn't a problem at all because the other team has the exact same handicap, and if you're any good the Horde still win.
GG.

Not to mention that there are usually level 80s on either side that are terrible enough to get killed by level 77s, combined with the fact that offense still has plenty of nodes to guard and PvE mobs to kill.

Pre-80, leveling my latest 80 in AV, I often top-charted for killing blows and flags assaulted/defended without an exceptional number of deaths.
I also had more victories than defeats in AV.

Yeah for me and Swift we didn't see any real losses other then when we were in AV's with complete idiots. you know the ones who don't defend what they capture and just generally run about like chickens with their heads cut off. Those were the times we would pray for another BG to pop. Otherwise it was just like when we were running BGs pre 70.

Been doing a fair amount of AV on Aita for leveling...which is really strange, for anyone who knows me. But damn, it's just so efficient <.<

I did a couple AVs on my (66, now 67) warlock last night. I was impressed with the amount of XP you can get in there (of course honor gains are shit compared to 80s, but w/e).
Also, I was nuking the crap out of people. It was awesome. Though a rogue or two and retardin owned my face a few times.
Also, it seems that the 60s bracket is filled with people inexperienced with AV. I stood on that hill by Stormpike graveyard for I don't know how long, nuking people and dropping fire on them, with only one person actually attempting to get me (whom had a problem getting up there, so I just DoTed him and he gave up).
It brought me back to my old days, when AV was first introduced and I'd do the same thing on my mage and rack up the HKs (as they weren't shared originally).
