[Serenity]

This idea was taken from the networking forum's "lonely RPer personals" thread, and a hint from Cessily. ;) Just adapting it to the PvP forum now, hope no one minds!

With the new season just started up, it seems there are a lot of people who need new arena teams or want to get in on arenas before this season gets too underway (or at least what I've gathered in some OOC channels Horde-side). What I hope is for people to use this thread and find some like-minded partners!

So, following suit of the RP thread, you can copy this little template if you so wish:

About me: I haven't played arena on this paladin yet, but I world PvP/BG/duel quite often and made duelist title in S3 and 4 as a rogue. My gear is currently deadly main-set and furious off. I plan on taking arenas seriously, but not to over-react or get too demoralized at any losses and certainly play more than just 10 games a week.
Availability: Week nights for sure, weekends usually.
Roleplay: I'm more focused on doing well in arena, but I'm not adverse to RPing the arena partnership if anyone wants.
Misc Notes: Have some finesse to learn, but I know the PvP core of my class well enough!

About me: My play style is really more catered towards team play thanks to the large scale skirmishes I've had in the world. I want to get a really good team to push rating hard.
Availability: A few hours in the early evening on Weekdays (4-5PM server until around 7PM server), all day on weekends.
Roleplay: I RP heavily but do not necessarily expect to RP out arenas in the least.
Misc Notes: If you take arenas way too seriously and get pissed off more than you enjoy the games, then I have no real interest in doing games with you.

Seeking: 5v5, 3v3... 2s I guess, but I'd like to try and be competetive in the more important brackets.
About me: I played shockadin in BC and was one of the better ones around (though to be fair we were a rare breed), I've tried pretty much everything in Wrath from prot/holy to 4 or 5 different variant attempts at shockadin, and I'm mostly settled into just being a healer now. I have very little Wrath Arena experience, but I'd like to get better. Mostly hateful gear, piece of Furious. Still working on my gear tbh... especially since new gear is available for honor.
Availability: Evenings. Tuesday and Thursday after 8:00-ish server, Friday after 9:00-ish server. Weekends I'm available, but I like to go camping and drinking and such, so it's a bit inconsistent.
Roleplay: Never really roleplayed in arenas, but I'd be glad to roleplay with people on my team about being an arena team.
Misc Notes: I have been on some very good teams in the past, but the fact that they were dicks and flipped their shit when we lost got pretty old. If I fuck up, I'll be glad to own up to it and be taught to correct my mistakes, but I don't play this game to be yelled at over vent.

About me: Love Fury, hate Arms. Like to see the occiasonal Fury PvP crash the occasional misconception its pointless in PvP. I'm also a nut when it comes to pvp, and not the good kind. I'll rush pointlessly into obviously losing fights, or camp lowbie towns in low level white quality gear cause I'm bored. Thats my definition of pvp.
Availability: I'm on random times during the night but if I know I've got something to do in game I'm on reliably.
Roleplay: Not much these days, but I don't discourage it.
Misc Notes: I do have some random pvp gear, cant think of which seasons off the top of my head, but its all currently unenchanted or ungemmed cause well, I don't often get to use it.

About me: I try to balance both PvE and PvP activities, but since this is a PvP server, I'm beginning to invest myself in the quirks and inner workings of my spec from a PvP standpoint. My circumstances are unique, as I employ PvE gear to get the stats I want, but I'm aiming to be in full PvP gear at some point. If Prot PvP doesn't work out, I might try...Ret *shudder/gag*.
Availability: Usually in the later evenings on weekdays, and most of the weekends.
Roleplay: Highly encouraged, though not entirely required.

About me: While I don't have very much arena experience, I world PvP and participate in battlegrounds frequently. Therefore, while doing well would be GREAT I'm actually looking to more develop personal PvP skills and get more familiar with the arena setting. I am motivated about PvP, and defientley plan to be so about an arena team. I don't get discouraged very easily, and read a fair bit about strategies and such.
Availability: It varies a lot because my schedule is pretty flexible.
Roleplay: I'm not against role-play in an arena setting, but plan to be more focused on the PvP aspect of it.

I would just like to clarify, since I think some people might have misunderstood -- the "Roleplay:" part is just there in case you wish for the team to be an IC partnership, or so was my intention. Certainly nobody expects to actually RP during an arena match, but making perhaps having the team know each other outside the arena as fellow participants in the goblin gladiatorial arena. =]

I understand that it takes time to learn your class well, but I am not looking to train partners. I'm hardly a pvp god, but I expect you to know how to peel/cc effectively, know what LoS is and how to use it, etc.

Please use keybinds and don't keyboard turn/backpedal.

touche, but we just beat space people! made sweeter only by the fact that they GY camped us in the exact same BG last season (that BG being WSG). I'm pretty sure our core team is over 2k now.

I think guildox only updates when someone manually requests one, and I pulled that screenshot last week sometime. I only posted it to show which guilds seems to be doing RBGs, not as a counter to what you said. If anything it supports it since those are the only 3 guilds over 1800 at the moment. Grim would probably be higher, but we only RBG twice a week and we still run into days where we have to sub in someone from out of the guild to get 10 people. In other news, I only need about 20 more wins to get my wolf!
