Tired of spending all your time trying to please a bunch of arrogant, Light-loving sissies? Annoyed at your dull, law-abiding, ordinary life as some poor wretch for the Alliance to order around like a petty dog? Always wanted to take to the seas, and make an actual profit with your fighting skills? Wish you could just kill all the idiots who stand in your path to glory?

As gentlemen and ladies of fortune, we provide a healthy and easy outlet for all your bloodthirsty and greedy needs. The crew of the Storm Runner is looking for able-bodied men and women of all backgrounds and beliefs to join us in our good-natured attempts to dismantle the law. In our nautical exploits we will partake in the sacking and destruction of all sorts of towns.
All we ask in return is that you have the stomach for killing and the common sense to listen to orders and not flop around on deck with the self-destructive idiocy of a half-witted, one-legged kodo.
Keep in mind that blatant stupidity is punishable by death.

How large/active is the guild?
Brand new, but we hope to expand enough to give those law-abiding folks a run for their money.
Is RP required? Is OOC allowed in guildchat, or do you have a separate channel for that?
RP is required, but guild chat is OOC for now; we encourage face-to-face RP more than distance, though there is a separate IC channel.
Do you have a level restriction?
All seasons, races, creeds and professions welcome… As long as you have the stomach for it.

What is the back story for the guild (if any)?
The Blackwater Bandits were formed on a whim by a pair of unlawful humans, neither of which has had previous knowledge of piracy or even sailing in general.
With the defenders of Azeroth focusing on Northrend and the destruction of the Scourge, much of both Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms are left without proper protection, making them easy prey. There is much profit to be made in piracy these days.
Forget any romanticized notions of dashing swashbucklers and charming rogues, though their skills are quite welcome here should they choose to join the crew; the Blackwater Bandits are pirates in the truest sense of the word.

Is there an initiation process before you are tagged?
An IC interview is required to make sure you’re neither an idiot nor a Light-loving do-gooder sent to destroy us from the inside.
