I thought this was pretty amusing... the CIA has a sculpture in its courtyard that they have not been able to crack the code of...

That's awesome...I need to get away from it so I can actually write this paper, but neato.

'Agent of satan' ROFL I hope nothing really bad happens to this guy because of it...I mean, he's probably got a few CIA agents pissed off at him...

He probably has even MORE than the CIA pissed off at him. I can bet that even the MI:6 and the Mossad were trying to crack Kryptos when they weren't worrying about national security. This man is a smug bastard.

I bet the 4th panel is just gibberish. Most successful troll ever.

Nobody is going to realize that until another century.

He developed the code with the help from a guy provided by the CIA. They made it just that good is all.

Yah, read the whole article. I kinda felt sad when the artist admitted he doesn't remember the code due to his age and memory. Which, only adds a layer of more mystery.

Well, the CIA do get bored. How best to pass away the time when there is no national security issues to worry about? Make CIA cryptologists fret over a goddamn code made from combinations of encryption systems and misspellings. It's also a way to determine potential recruit. If someone could go beyond all the layers after layers of encryption schemes and misspellings and figure it all out, even if the message was complete nonsense, the CIA will sit up, say "Get this guy into our office!" and tell him to shut up and not tell anyone about the code and do work for them instead.

And it is also possible that the artist is lying. People in the CIA business or are involved with the CIA are all habitual liars anyway.

I suspect that there's a possibility that the damned 4th portion of the code might be written in another language. You know, just to screw with people who thinks everything must be in English.

Right now, the artist, and the head of the CIA, must be snickering behind all the cryptologists still scratching heads. The fools.
