Hello!

We at First Legion are currently looking to fill in some holes in our roster. We're not terribly picky, and encourage Cross Faction and even Server transfers to come apply with us :)


First Legion has always prided itself on doing things first progression wise, but with out the attitude or the elitism that tends to go along with higher progression in a PvE environment. That does not, however, mean we don't expect top quality and performance from our guild members and our applicants.

Our normal raid schedule is from 6:30pm server to 11pm server time, Monday through Thursday. On newer content we may also chose to throw in a Friday or a Sunday, but only upon the agreement of our raid team as a whole. Currently we've reduced our raid time to Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but raid times will return to normal upon release of Icecrown.

We are looking for all of the following classes and rolls:

A Shield Blocking Tank -- This is a warrior or a paladin with a full shield block set or a partial shield block set and the drive to fill in wholes in this set on off days.

A Rogue or even TWO

An Enhancement shaman - this is a back up position and it is REQUIRED that any applicant get in contact with Abusive.

A Shadow Priest

A DPS Warrior


If you might think you could be one of these people, please fill out an application at our home page( http://dark-heroes.net/firstlegion/). We ask applicants have ToC (245 and equivalent for your class) gear, and have at least some experience in both Ulduar and ToC 25 mans. We are not interested in picking up fresh 80's in partial badge epics/partial heroics gear, nor do we wish for someones inexperienced alt.

As an applicant we must also remember that First Legion expects you to bring your own consumables, buy your own gems and enchants and to remember that we DO and WILL wipe from time to time. As a guild we usually assist in a bit of all of those things, but not always. Repair bills can be expensive, so make sure you do those dailies once and a while :)

All raid spots are earned, and granted based on performance. Seniority is wonderful and Loyalty is encouraged, but no one's raid spot is solid.


A knowledge of TotGC and Ulduar Hard Modes is expected - even if you haven't done the Hard Mode Version of the fights, please make sure you've taken the time to read and find out as much information as you're able - the resources for these things are easily found.

Then you might just what we need! The battle within Arthas's citadel has left our ranks with a few holes and we could use a few new soldiers."

If you do not see your class listed, but wish to apply anyway, we do on occasion accept players with exceptional applications.

It is important to recognize that we are looking for players that we can immediately place into our active raid roster. This does not mean we are only looking for players that are currently geared in ICC25HM (ilvl 277+) gear, but we will not accept applicants who fall below the general gear requirements of Icecrown Citadel’s normal mode encounters.


Our raiding schedule is as follows:

Monday: 7:00 - 11: 00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 - 11: 00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 - 11: 00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 - 11: 00 PM

For loot we follow an EP/GP system. We believe in rewarding players that take the time to show up and put effort into our progression raids. We award full-credit EP to players that sit standby, and our class leaders actively work to rotate players into the raid for bosses they need. For any questions on how this works, feel free to message me in game.


First Legion prides itself on the quality of its raiding environment, and we expect the following from all of our recruits and raiders:

-- Attendance. We expect all of our players to show up on time for all of our raids, and give proper and timely notice of any absences. This means showing up at 6:30 CST for invites, or posting in our forums if you will be late or unable to raid. This also means showing up to our raids with consumables and prior research/knowledge of the game content.

-- Performance. We are an end-game content guild recruiting end-game quality players. We are looking for players that know how to play their class, which means knowing how to spec/glyph correctly for PvE, knowing how to properly select and enchant/gem gear, and knowing how to properly use abilities and cooldowns in a raid setting. We are also looking for players with excellent raid and environment awareness; players that can top the healing or DPS meters but can’t move out of fire will not last long on our raid roster.

-- Attitude. Be able to take criticism, be able to recognize your own mistakes, and be able to make adjustments. We aren’t elitist snobs, we aren’t drama queens, and we aren’t recruiting any for our roster. We expect all members to represent the guild in a professional manner, be it in trade chat, on the realm forums, or in any other interaction with the server population. We love being social and we love having fun, but if that fun turns into anything that could hurt the brand we have created, then we are not interested.

-- Raid Communication Skills. We use Ventrilo to communicate during raids, and we expect all members of our roster to do the same. Have a working microphone, and be able to use it.
