I only occasionally watch NCIS for one reason.

I'm not a big fan of CSI. But NCIS is quite good, both for the reason borx mentioned and for the fact that the writing is actually quite clever sometimes.

Eh my dad is an NCIS fan but when I have to watch one I tend to stick to CSI, I prefer the older series though not big on the new stuff.

Ah yes, the goth chick ploy. I hate being suckered like that so I don't watch it (or anythign really unless it's online now.) But she does the same job that Greg Sanders did when he was an awesome punk nerd boy so I call shenanigans on them.

I think Fishburn was a great addition/replacement on CSI. I never liked the Sarah character, and her relationship with Grissom always seemed a bit weird.

Love Abby on NCIS, loved Sanders better when he wasn't in the field, and love Garcia on Criminal Minds.

Hodges....is...AMAZING. Best character to love to hate EVAR. Especially after his fantasies in the sci-fi/star trek con episode. OMFG I want to dominate him!
