Okay, it really makes me angry when I log in to check out what I've missed on the forums...only to see a bunch of topics already read, when I haven't touched them. Then I miss a bunch of stuff and I get grumbly and such...does this happen to anyone else?
Nadea wants to read all of the TNG posts, damnit! D:

Happens to me sometimes too.
Can't figure out what causes it, but sometimes the topics will be marked read before I've clicked them.

Noticed that as well.
I think Mortica is having a field day... or maybe all the moderators!

I moved this to the Suggestions/bugs forum. It happens to me sometimes too.
Peace out!

Not really sure what causes it, although switching from home computer to work computers seems to be when I notice it the most.
It is really irritating to miss some really good flamage after everything has died down and gotta resist the urge to poke the coals ^^

I've found that if I delve down into a thread, then use a link to get back to the main forum page, all the unread links appear grey (read). If I close and come back to the page, or refresh, same thing.
What I have been doing is using my browser back button to navigate back to the main page. That way the page Im looking at is the cached one with the red unread icons. Once I'm comfortable I've gone through the threads I'm interested in, I refresh.
Is that what you mean?

Hmmm...so that works? I feel like I've tried that before (using back) and the page automatically refreshed. >.>
