I have a guild made on my priest that I've considered panning out into an actual guild or just a loose coalition, but I'd like to see if anyone is interested first.
I'd like it to be a "starter-RP" guild of sorts. RPers and people not-opposed to RP all being welcome, where RPers can show those who don't actively RP what's done and encourage the to participate if they wish. Or, if they choose not to, to just be a place to come hang out to talk with friends who do RP.
I encourage PvP, but there would be a set of rules designed around a "Don't be a douchebag" philosophy. Complaints would be addressed and requiring of explanation with good reasons for ganking people more than 5-7 levels below a person's level, camping, taking advantage of mobs overwhelming another player, outnumbering, etc. World PvP encounters would not be discouraged... I personally don't care about killing someone to get a mining node, or otherwise fair encounters and combat.
Recruitment would be done primarily through word of mouth and recommendations, since I'm not out to take members from other guilds. Maybe they're semi-frequently played alts, but that's about it.
If there is interest, please let me know here or over PM. If there's enough interest, I'll be looking for people willing to be officers to help out with things.
