The buzz is in the air. People murmuring about fair and pageants. What could this mean? Then you see it. Through the main squares of Orgrimmar, Silvermoon, Thunder Bluff, Shattrath and Dalaran.

The First Inaugural Community Fair!
Wednesday February 11th.
Gates open at 6pm (server time)

We've chosen as our first site the lovely grounds of 1 Dawnstar Lane (http://wow-tng.org/showpost.php?p=261915&postcount=2) graciously donated to our use by Lady Liadrin, the commander of the Blood Knights of Silvermoon.

We have many events lined up for you.

A beauty pageant organized by the fabulous Cabriel Lockvictor. There's still time! If you want the coveted Miss (or Mister) Eversong title, you'd better rush and speak with him before this Friday.

We have a crafting fair going on too! Vendors throughout the world will be there plying there wares. Who knows what you could find? Interested in selling stuff at the fair? Contact Bellsa or Vilmah at your earliest convenience.

Are you down on your luck? Looking for adventurers or perhaps a new friend? Well, we might be able to put you in touch with the right people. Also, if you're a guild or association that's looking for new members, give me, Athin D'Origaille, a shout out, for we'd love to have you there to represent.

Have an idea for an event? Contact me, and we'll work something out.

When asked about the Community Faire, Silas Darkmoon had this to say "What? A Darkmoon Faire Killer? Ridiculous. I mean come on? Where else are you going to find the spectacular Darkmoon cards. Do they have that? Huh? Huh?!"

My, I rather expect I shall be attending!

So far it's Bellsa competing in the pageant, and me MC'ing. If I don't have at least 6 people, I'm cancelling it and am just going to attend shirtless.

I've only received one entry for the crafting section as well. Come on people, step up so we can have some fun!

I suppose I could send some crafted stuff, dunno. What sort of stuff, though? Sadly I'm not able to be online until about midnight server time on weekdays.

Sabeinne and I will both be entering the pageant. You aren't on super often, and when you are I just forget to message you.

Thank you Pearlle for advertising, otherwise I wouldn't have realized this was today.

How did it go guys? I brought it up to my guildmates and others, so I hope it went alright.

I showed up late, but from my conversation with Athin, it was pretty slow.

Bunch of Blood Elves being moody. And one young buck stereotypically hitting on all the women, and also challenging people to duels (he was level 10).

And then I had to get ready for Lost.

It wasn't as busy as I had hoped for, but also not quite as slow as I was afraid it would be. It took a while to get everyone there, but once we did it went pretty well. We still held the beauty pageant, even if the list of contestants was very short.

I'm sure if you keep holding them, you'll gather enough faithful people who will keep returning. I may not be super interesting but I did show up. :}

I'm thinking the first day of a limited duration world event may have had a bit to contribute to it as well. Those interested in things like beauty pageants would also be rather interested in the V-day event stuff, I think.

I really hope this does happen again because I'd like to be there. I am in the midst of setting a work/school schedule, and was unable to attend this one :(.

My mom flew in for a visit so I was spending time with her and not on the computer. I hope there are plans for another Community Fair! It sounds like a lot of fun and I'm sorry I missed it.
