Okay, so what all CCs/Stuns/Slows/Silences are there? Which share DR with each other? What 'protections' are there?

This is going to be an info dump for me, as I am trying to figure other classes out, but thought others input would be helpful (especially rogue/hunter, who I know the least about).

Shaman also have Frost Shock, and Tauren have a racial Stun.

Rogues have:

Stun(does not break on damage)- Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot
Stun(Breaks on damage)-Gouge, Sap
Incapacitate(Breaks on damage)-Blind
Silence- Garrote, Kick (If Talented)
Interrupt- Kick, Fan of Knives/Deadly Throw (If Talented)
Slow-Crippling Poison, Deadly Throw

A more updated list. Not sure if it's entirely comprehensive, but it is to my knowledge, minus racials like War Stomp.

EDIT: Added Crip and Deadly Throw to rogues as per Abric's post.

EDIT: Psychic Scream + Divine Hymn as per Taknar's post. Also clarified warrior specs for shockwave and conc blow, added shield bash, and added Avenger's Shield. Spell Lock too! Thanks Necroxis.

EDIT: Chillblains added for DKs.

EDIT: Changed all instances of 'slow' to 'snare' as that is the correct terminology. Also added Piercing Howl.

EDIT: Added both Feral Charges, Mind Control, and Seduce.

Some corrections here;

Blind is not an incapacitate, but is a physical effect. Sap and gouge are both. What's the difference? Things like Hand of Protection remove both, but abilities like Berserker Rage for warriors only get incapacitate effects.

Also, Imp Hamstring has no prot talent. Imp Hamstring can come from the warrior Arms Talent and a glyph that gives a 10% proc chance on the snare. Imp Hamstring is also a snare, not a stun.

Thanks Fhen, I will be making what adjustments I can - this is the kind of crap I am trying to figure out, and the tooltips aren't all that helpful.

If I was more computer savvy I would make a spreadsheet type thing that when you moused over it would tell what broke the CC and what it shared DR with, but I don't have those skills.

To others - try to keep changes in successive posts (instead of editing your previous post) - it will just make it easier to see what I need to change in the first post.

Death Grip is very useful as a PvP interrupt, I find it only useful for that and bringing people close to you when they are running/kiting and your chains of ice won't do the trick.

Maim is an incapacitate effect last I checked. It breaks on damage.

Blood Elves have an AoE 2 sec silence.

You also missed that chimera ability that specific BM hunters have (I know they fixed it to where I can Freedom out of it, but still)

I've also found that Seal of Justice tends to work best for a Prot Paladin in an AoE situation.

I'd also like to point out one small thing: Judgement of Justice does not count as a snare or movement imparing effect. Meaning, you cannot shift/HoF out of it. You get it, get a dispel or you've got jack.

Bear charge also interrupts casting. I believe it's a 2 second school silence? I'm too lazy and druid inept to check this.

Warlocks can also seduce.
I wouldnt consider Spell Lock CC as it only lasts a few seconds

...cannot do that while stunned...
