I might actually participate in this one....-shudders at deadline- Or not...I forget I'm timed. I wish I could call upon my "talent" whenever, like some people...but I'm afraid it comes and goes like the wind.

I submit: For Sisterhood (http://wow-tng.org/showthread.php?p=253511) : Sad it is something to bind us together.
And, Menalai, this short story was something I wrote but hadn't shared yet. I tweaked it a bit to strengthen the theme elements and ta-da!

i'm struggling with this topic. the best thing i can say is "caring" is the tie that binds the elements of the stories i want to tell with this topic. but i'm struggling on how to define that caring. i don't have specific events that demonstrated it. well i do, but that feels too involved and i'd like to keep it short. sometimes the thing that binds people is an event, or an act, or a thing they might have in common. that doesn't work for what i want. argh! *pant pant* just venting.
again, a really good challenge!

don't take it too literally :)
I figured with Christmas I'd see a few "I wuv my guildies" type posts but wanted to leave it open enough so that people who play characters that are evil or loners could have something to submit also :)

Ok, so the first post was intended to lead into the story of how the character Lailinarel was killed, but more people started postin and I wasn't very well gonna tell em to stop. I didn't copy over a few of my own alt based posts, they kinda weren't needed, but when I read the theme for the week I kinda had to copy these over.
So I present to you a conglomeration of writings from several members of the Sword of the Morning. Enjoy.

Psh, If I'm gonna frequent this forum I demand one thing, and that is that you use the name Lail.
And if not that, then I demand cake.
Or cookies and beer.
Marshmallows?

Have you seen how many beers get left at gravesites?!
Back to the topic: I do approve, quite heartily, of Lail's post and re-posts.

I like the story because I'm the bad ass Arch-Villain.
In a sense!

Didn't get this finished in time for the revenge challenge. Lucky for me, it has to do with family too. ^.^

Syl's a kickass writer imo.
<.<
*Admits that it was looking for Syl's writing that made him first get interested in reading stuff folks posted on the TNG.*
