[LFRP] Return of the Cackler

Hi all!

So as many of you know I put my main priest, Taknar, on leveling hold while I worked on a death knight to get up to 80. Karryn, the brand new death knight, has reached her destination. I can now start the effort of bringing Taknar back. However, there is a bit of a challenge here in that he seems to be dead. (See http://wow-tng.org/showpost.php?p=246700&postcount=107 for the exact story, and feel free to comment on it here since I don't get much feedback from these things.)

What I would like to do is starting bringing him back in phases, while slowly revealing what happened to him. In order to do this, I am looking for as many people as possible who are writing roleplay or doing roleplay in game based in Northrend to toss in cackles from seemingly no where. They don't need to have anything particular to do with your story, but they can if you like. I envision something like Carmen hearing an old cackling troll that she can't find as she wanders through the fjord, and Vilmah hears an old cackling troll as she attempts to make her escape in Zul'Drak. Even if it is just a character hearing a cackle, looking around and finding no one, and resuming what they were doing it would be a great help.

I am also looking for someone interested in helping with the second phase. It involves roleplaying through one of the questlines in the Dragonblight, so if you are interested in that please contact me via PM and I can share a bit more of the details.

Rand's currently running around Northrend shooting things... sometimes with the unintended result of pissing off the Azerothian members of the WoW members of PeTA, or earning himself the ire of a certain female orc stronghold leader. >.>'

He's also the kind of personality that either stumbles into trouble or becomes an unplanned/unexpected hero if the need arises... or just comic relief. Think "Vash the Stampede" except considerably less hyperactive and less prone to screaming loudly like a girl.

Just hit me up if you need anything. I don't really have anything planned for him at the moment.

Still looking for more help in this regard. If you have already included an element of this in your roleplay, please let me know so I can read up on it. If it happened in game, please describe the situation and the locale here. My plan is to start off phase 2 with a post for each of the times that the laughter was heard in other roleplay.

Bah, sorry Taknar, was hoping people would want to continue on and finish the rp, but seeing as that isn't happening... I'm going to have to move forward. BUT, I am interested in perhaps being involved in this as well.

You know Dio will be in on this, since he can sense spirits being a Shaman and all. I never got to touch on Taknar's death much except in passing conversation, so I'd love to be able to cover it a bit more with Dio.

Okay, in the next few days (possibly tonight) I will be creating a thread in nether legends for Phase 2 to begin. Any cackling you want to RP out hearing, feel free to do it in that thread. Just please leave it to the laugh encounter until I open the thread up further.

I'll PM you. I have something involving other npc trolls that having cackling roll trough wouldn't be out of place. I just need to get it written up. It's the story stuff to explain Amoola's being missing in action.
