looking for someone to teach Pearlle some argumentative/debate mechanics about logic and critical thinking, as well as some philosophical tools for conversation purposes. this will be roleplay. teacher doesn't need to be nice, but needs to be cheap, ingame gold i guess.

PM or ingame letter only please. premise will be that pearlle goes looking for said teacher and finds them at the spot of their choosing and will spend an hour or so every day or other day, discussing the mechanics of debate. so, hopefully looking for someone who has the time and can commit, and who has some rl university level philosophy and critical thinking experience.

thanks in advance!

PM Ironskull/Sowell, IMO.

Edit: If he's still in game, that is.

That sounds kind of fun, I'm an english major, but I did take some phil classes for shits and giggles. Send me a Pm on the forums here or to Alesor/Vaynne in game if you're interested.

Hm... suppose if you wanted, there is Draco. Guy lead a rebellion, and... as for a price? Well, Draco is for helping the Sin'dorei... he might end up doing it for free if it was for a good cause.

Hit me up, if you're interested.

Well, if Xiphus is still active, he would teach your character heaps about critical thinking and logic. Unfortunately, they are all only relevant when it comes to killing people, killing people quickly, getting away with it, and covering up all tracks after doing said killing. Oh, and cost/benefit analysis.

well if any of the above are interested, please send me a message! either forum PM or ingame roleplay mail letter! and let me know where to stumble into your character so i can get this started. i have a friend who is all about 'logic' but i think his view on logic might be skewed. and i don't forget my critical thinking courses at all....

if the ice cube is in the glass, does it increase the volume of the water in the glass...in a logical sense, less scientific. critical thinkers might remember that conundrum from class!
