Okay, tons of caveats here: we are only 70, we don't have all our wrath abilities, blah blah blah. I totally realize all of these things.

But do healers really have a shot in the small arenas? 2s and 3s are about the only thing I can ever find players for (trying getting 5 people with totally different schedules on at the same time with any regularity is very difficult) so I am talking about the small-scale arena.

DPS has gone WAY up with the changes. Healing has gone up a bit, but it used to be hard to compete with serious DPS (esp. with a debuff like MS up) - Now, near impossible.

Not to mention almost all healers aren't really a threat because they have no real push once their DPS partner is dead. I dunno, maybe its just me (although I mentioned this to Fhenrir and he seemed to agree) but I think that without some serious change to survivability healing will be pretty much left out of the competitive arena scene.

And then the question is how to make healing competitive again...resilience numbers way high? Change to what armor does in PvP? High placed talents that grant more survivability? Change in healing coefficients in arenas?

I'm not really sure.

Thoughts please.

They buffed resilience on beta.

It wasn't huge, but they did. Something like each point provides a slightly higher amount of crit chance and crit damage reduction, so the cap is increased.

I haven't done alot of arenas - but wait til 3.0.3. I've seen people healing through DPS in BGs and world PvP - Once the crazy retadins go down, try again, it'll probably be a good bit better.
